They're starting to get it...
Just found out today the old partners spoke to the new firm and convinced them to give me another raise even though they said they weren't going to until October 2007... so in total, since they've taken over, I've gotten a $14k increase... it definitely eases my angst and I appreciate the effort, but I'm STILL making about $20k LESS than an entry level associate even though I'm in my third year

 Good for you. But are you still looking elsewhere? I left my first company way back when when I was there for more than 3 years and found out they hired a newbie right out of school and paid HIM more!!! I was livid.

I'm definitely still looking... I feel bad and I really don't want to screw over the people I used to work for, but I have to look out for myself... they promised a $7500 raise each year until I'm at parody with their associates in NJ, but at this rate, it will take about 4-5 years to get in parody!!
