Another home question... organizing from the start
I've always kept my homes clean and relatively organized, but I know that I've never been really good at it. I also know that if there is an established plan, I'm a good follower.
All that to say that one if the things I've been thinking about lately is getting someone to help me organize our new home... once we get one.
How does one start finding a professional organizer??

Maybe start with a local Facebook page and ask for recommendations. I have some friends that have used them but they were so expensive and I could never justify the cost because I am cheap!

Yes look online. I am good with this as I have a small house and need to me but many do this as an occupation.

I see them advertised on FB all the time as well and they are not cheap.

Another home question... organizing from the start
Professional Organizers are so expensive! When we bought our house a few years ago, I took to pinterest. I looked for spaces like mine, and decided what I needed. I had DH create customized closets for me, shopped for bins/baskets/storage solutions. I tackled each space one at a time. I also was ruthless with only keeping what we need, storing some keepsakes (we have a lot of storage spaces), and making sure what I bought worked for us. I'm a bit of an organizing freak and constantly re-evaluating different spaces and changing them if I need to. Don't try to tackle everything at once. My office closet was one of the last spaces organized-- and it sat for a while until I figured out what I needed from it and how to achieve what I wanted. Most of my organizing projects were done on small budgets.
