What if he DID make that speech last week and it STILL happened? Would you still blame him?

IMO, he should have spoken about violence last week before this, especially if they had intel that something might happen. but you will never be happy with anything he has done or said, anything he will do or say.

We can only hope this board is as busy with threads about all the things Biden and Harris will be doing for our country.

And you will always be happy with anything he has said or done, anything he will do or say.

Nope, never said that and never would.

This is why most people on this board do not bother posting here. It is a shame as there are so many smart, educated people who could contribute and they are pushed away.

What are even talking about? Don't change the topic.

The fact is you make it a point to always defend Trump's actions and you avoid blaming him for everything.

The anticipation is killing me. You are always posting bashing trump. I’m at the edge of my seat waiting for what is next

Did he breathe incorrectly?
Did he blink too many time during his speech?
Was his shirt the wrong color?

We are waiting!

One can only hope that those are the most controversial topics to be associated with Trump and anyone from his administration. But I think my winning the mega millions jackpot is the better bet.
We still talk about some of the greatest presidents in history so I assume we, as the collective we, will continue to talk about the worst and most corrupt president in US history.

Why? If he is gone out of office there is nothing to continue talking about.

Reporters are more interested in Biden's favorite flavor of ice cream so this should be a fun 4 years of fluff.

I will gladly criticize Biden and his admin if I feel it’s warranted. They have to back up all their promises now. They have full control of everything now, so they have no excuse.

But...
I won’t have a Biden flag or sticker.
Or a hat.
Or attend rallies.
Or be a fan girl.
Or siege the Capitol for him.
I won’t have excuses. I promise to be critical.

Edited to add I hope others join me in holding the new president and admin accountable as well.

Country over party every time.

Re: Trump's speech this evening

There are several threads in the last few days that have nothing to do with trump, but you never seem to have anything to input except defending the person you agreed should be tried for Treason. If it's not about trump, you ignore the topic completely.

The f@$k was that load of crap???? A week after inciting an insurrection, doing NOTHING the day it happened and subsequently being impeached NOW he has an attack of his conscience????

I guess he isn't able to understand that the damage is already done. He can't put that genie back in the bottle with a few words that are DAYS too late. The things he said tonight are the words he should've spoken from day one of his presidency. But instead, he spent his ENTIRE presidency fanning the flames of hate, division and discourse and he simply can't fix that in a four minute video. It's all too little too late.

What we are watching now is a very pathetic, isolated, mentally ill man scrambling to try and save himself. However, as is the case with every habitual liar there comes a point where they can't stay ahead of their own lies anymore. In the end, all of Trump's lies were ultimately his undoing. Now his entire life, career and presidency are going up in blistering flames and history will not be kind to him. I'll be honest, his demise is the most gratifying thing to watch. Karma is a fickle b!tch and the wrong someone does in life will ALWAYS come back to get them.

Good riddance to one of the most abhorrent human beings the world has ever known. His presence will most certainly not be missed.

Are you saying that you can't have your own opinion on a non-trump topic until a bunch of other people post their opinion.... Chat Icon

It doesn't sound like something someone who knows a lot about politics would say. Maybe, maybe not.

There are plenty of people who know a lot about politics on this board but just don't want to deal with the backlash. That is why many of these posts go dead.
