Just had my first u/s

Just got back from my first u/s. We could see the sacs but not the heartbeat. I should be about 5wks4days along so hopefully it's just too soon for that.

We just got back also, I am approx 5w5d & we could barely see a heartbeat...barely. At first the tech did not see it & then had to do all these funky maneuvers with the wand to get even a faint one.

When do you go for your next? I am sure you will be able to see it then. According to my Dr if you go even one day too soon you won't be able to see it.

Thanks Trouble, you're making me feel better. I go back next Tuesday, so a week from today. They said I'll more likely see a heartbeat then.

I went during my 5th week and we saw the sac and no heartbeat, I went back a week later and there it was, going strong!!! You'll should see it next time!
