what would you do?

so DH and I are car shopping-
i think we are between two cars:

1) the new Honda CR-V
2) a Honda Accord

so- would you get the little SUV or the Sedan- both have the same interior space- the back seat of the Accord actually is a little bigger.

the SUV has a very roomy "trunk" area though...

they are both around the same price.

Re: what would you do?

I am partial to the view of the road from an SUV so I voted CR-V.

I would get the CRV...my mom has one and she loves it. I don't know, I am partial to SUVs though, you can fit SO much more in there....like long stuff and it's great when you do a Home Depot run or something....

I see I'm in the minority here, but I voted accord. I was originally thinking of getting a RAV4, now I'm leaning towards the camry. I honestly dislike SUVs and people in SUVs (I think people get the Marge/Canyonero syndrome). If the sedan is almost as roomy, I'd go with that and save on gas and have an easier time parking.

you are like me- i sort of feel the same way.
but i'm on the fence.

also- if I can get a v-6 accord for the same monthly price as the v-4 suv- wouldn't it be worth it?

I don't know.

I say SUV...I dont have children yet--we are trying now...but I have taken care of my neighbor's child for extended periods of time(a week or more at a time) and having my suv was so much nicer than using her car....It was easier to manuever her into and out of the carseat...not bending over as much. I say if it is the same price, then go for the SUV...plus, you have 4 wheel drive for slippery roads in the winter! :)
