Please tell me my DD is not the only one...
who will not eat *any* fruits or vegetables!!
When she was eating baby food, she would eat anything, now she pretty much hates everything. This is what we're down to...cheese and carbs (pasta, bread, waffles, pancakes)! Oh, and yogurt! She wouldn't even eat french fries tonight.
It's driving me crazy!!!!!!

yep same with Bryan he is 15 months- he loved the jars fruit and veggies but now he loves his carbs and meats only. I can usually get him to eat applesauce and broccoli - with cheese only and string bean casserole. He only like it when it has a sauce on it. He hates the texture of fruit and he spits it out. Sometimes he will eat canned pinapple chunks but nothing fresh at all.

have you tried mashed potatoes with peas and carrots in it? I used to hide the veggies - in the food

Try shredding up the veggies and mixing them into homemade meatballs.

I also aggree with smashing up fruits/veggies and mixing in with mashed potatoes...
Even cutting up brocolli really small so it's just green specks and mixing in with mac & cheese or other pasta...
Emily doesn't eat many veggies -- the doc said not to stress --- to keep offering it to her every day and eventually she'll hopefully take it.
She does love to suck and gnaw on brocolli spears and also loves sweet potato french fries.
As far as fruits when I went back to work I started getting fruit cups -- like pineapples, peaches, pears and mandarin oranges. She does love them and eats them every day with breakfast. We drain out the liquid.

Re: Please tell me my DD is not the only one...
my ds just turned 1 yr last weekend and he too is a DIFFICULT eater! He primarily eats cheerios, puffs, animal crackers and yogurt. He goes through stages where he loves bagels, croissants but lately he hasn't even wanted that. Last week he was loving american cheese and this week he has been totally turning up his nose. So difficult - I'm with ya! The ped says as long as he is not "losing" weight then he is a-okay..but it is so troublesome.

Antonio is the opposite...he is obsessed with fruits. He hates meat and anything not in a "grilled cheese" format.
I grind everything in this Kidco grinder and put it in is "mystery sandwiches".

Carrots are the only thing that Nate will eat on it's own. I have to mix/mash other veggies in his food. He loves all fruit.

Re: Please tell me my DD is not the only one...
I'm sorry Keep trying different things.
I'm 32 years old and I don't eat ANY vegetables and only a few fruits. I get this from my mother...she didn't eat them either and never gave them to us as kids, so I didn't aquire a taste for them. My father will eat anything, but he was never home during dinner (always working), so we didn't have his influence. I don't wish this on anyone...it's so hard to always be the "picky" one. I've tried veggies as I've gotten older...but I just cannot stand the taste...it drives DH nuts.
