I can't take it anymore
Ladies- I'm posting just because I feel so bad and it helps to write.
The past few weeks my gas pains have been so sever- its like trapped air around my ribs- not gas you pass... It hurts so much at night and so I sleep sitting up- but lately my back starts to hurt and now the pains are so bad I can't even finish off the night laying on my side. DH has been sleeping in the guest room the last few weeks because I've been sleeping with 8 pillows so I need most of the bed. Last night I was in so much pain I was crying- it's like a nightmare to sleep. He heard me from the next room.
I'm leaving early to go back to my Dr. today even though I saw him on Thursday- GasX is not enough- I'm hoping I can add extra magnesium so I won't be as constipated and maybe then the gas pains will be better.
I slept three hours last night- how will I get through the next five weeks of working?

Thank you ladies-
I eat nasty fiber cereal every morning- I'm addiing yogurt- I try and drink a lot of water. My digestive system has never been great to begin with and now that the baby is so big I feel like he's cramping everything in there.
I just don't know how I will get through the next five weeks when I have so much trouble sleeping. 
ETA: here are some hugs back to you snugglepuss- I hope you feel better too!

I had the SAME thing the last few weeks I was PG...it hurst so bad that I was crying and hunched over the bed in pain.
Have you tried Maalox, or Mylanta??
That seemed to help.

No advice Ariella, but I truly hope you feel better soon
I know the last 6 weeks or so of my pregnancy was nearly unbearable and I hardly slept either... between back pain, cramps, stomach issues, etc. It's really hard to be exhausted and pregnant at the same time

That is what it felt when I had gallbladder attacks. I know a lot of women can have problems with their gallbladder after pregnancy. Mention this to your Dr maybe!! Feel better!

maybe ginger ale?
I had TERRIBLE gas a couple of years ago - my stomach was swollen and I was in terrible pain. It was a kind of virus I think and worked its way out (it nicely coincided with a stomach flu, and I think it was related), but I sympathize.. I couldn't imagine it preggo.
The bubbles in ginger ale may help get rid of it? Kind of like to help it pass along quicker.
I hope you get better soon!
Whenever I'm sick I drink lots of cranberry juice - at the very least to get things 'out of the system' quicker.

Thank you so much ladies- you made me feel better!
My Dr. is letting me switch my prenatal and he is referring me to a gastrointerologist- I'm crossing my fingers! I'm just going to eat very small, very bland foods.....5 more weeks of work!
