boobs after children
Did anyone's boobs change drastically after having kids? not like immediately after giving birth where it's not a permanent change, but like a long-lasting change?
DD is 2.5, and I feel like since having her one boob just got alot bigger than the other. I am not sure if it's continued to get bigger, but I feel like ever since having her, my bras never fit right or anything because of the size difference. In the last few days I've just been noticing it more and getting upset about it.
I asked Dh today if he happened to notice, and he goes "oh yea I think it's been like that since around the time you were pregnant but who cares?" lol

boobs after children
Are you ovulating or have your period? Or possibly pregnant? That will cause it to be more noticeable? My boobs are huge, wore a 34G pre and post pregnancy. From breastfeeding they are definitely not as “perky and firm” but still the same size... my skin in general is not as tone or firm, regardless of losing baby weight, especially my stomach from having a c-section. At this point I try to be healthy and active when possible but I’ve accepted I won’t look 25 my whole life

Re: boobs after children
Gosh mine changed so much. I would say it took maybe 6 or so years to go back to normal after my second child. I nursed both kids, and once that ended they were sad, deflated, saggy balloons. But eventually they perked back to normal pre babies boobies. However, ever since I gave birth and got my pd back, I now get cyclical boob pain. I did not have that before kids. I can tell when I am going to get my pd every month by my boobs.

Boobs go downhill after kids. Throw in aging and gravity and the odds are against us tenfold...

I had no boobs before or after DS so there has been no change.

Re: boobs after children
I went up a cup size but they're not as perky.
Though the increase in cup size could just be attributed to weight gain since having DD. Now I'm pregnant and due in like 2 weeks and I'm afraid of the porn star boobs I'm going to have while nursing.

Re: boobs after children
Mine actually got better. (I did not breastfeed)
My boobs were always small, not a lot of volume and to me and odd shape- almost like triangular. I just never liked them and always fantasized of a boob job just to change the shape at least.
Now they are bigger and fuller- especially the week leading up to my period. And they aren't saggy as least as far as I can tell.
But like a PP mentioned, the pre-period boob pain is awful. Some months it's so bad i have to wear a bra to bed and at all times because they hurt so damn much. It's awful. But I attribute that more to being in my 40s now and peri menopause hormone changes. Come to think of it, maybe that is why my boobs are fuller now- it may have less to do with having a baby and more to do with hormones in my 40s

I never breastfed either, but I’ve gained weight since having DD. I wonder if maybe one was always bigger than the other, but it’s just more noticeable now because I’ve gained a little weight

I breastfed both my kids and they stayed the same. It depends on your elasticity.

OMG, I am experiencing this right now as I type. My boobs have been sore since last Tuesday! 3 days after I ovulated and bam - the pain has been constant. I am 6 days from my period. The pain has been nauseating some days! Its a little bit better but still noticeable.
I also happened to have a mammogram on Friday so that was pure torture since they hurt just to touch them I was freaking out (still sorta am) that something serious was going on because I have never felt this much pain in my boobs since my milk came in after giving birth. Since having the mammogram and an ultrasound done (I have dense breast tissue) and nothing was found, I feel more comfortable that the pain is most likely hormone related. I just didn't think it could go on for this long before my period and is this going to be it going forward

Re: boobs after children
Some months it starts the day I ovulate and lasts the full 2 weeks until my period. The second I get my period, it's immediate relief. Other months it's not as long. Maybe just a week or so before my period. Other months it's not as intense in terms of the pain either. So it will vary i think.
It's totally hormonal.
And I can't imagine having a mammo when they are like that! I can't even let the shower water touch them or the inside of my shirt. OMG a mammo would be horrible!
