baby shower gift question
since i'm working hard to pay off all my debt in 2019 and i'm a couponer, i want to know what to keep my eyes out for.
SO's daughter isn't due until october. i just want to be prepared if i find something that a new mom would love and/or have the "wow" factor at the shower.
what would be a great gift for a new mom and/or something that would have everyone talking at the shower lol. let's be honest, it's all about wanting to blow everyone out of the water 
i know i'll make something. probably a baby hat and blanket combo... but i'm open to suggestions of what are the latest trends.

The handmade stuff is always the most memorable at the showers I've been to. That's what get the most oohs and ahhs.
I would go the extra mile on the blankets and outfits you plan to make, and then a few small things off the registry, or something for mom, like a really soft robe.

Yes, this for sure
I have to agree. Normally, I am all about saving money where you can, but this is such a close family member that it is not the time to do so for this event.
