Am I the only one?
Who says they are going to a have a "yell free" day and be supportive and have lots of patience with their kids and see how much better things are for the day...
Then reality hits and you hold it in till those kids break you and you loose it only to get looks like... wow, mom is crazy. Then they go about their day and I'm like, WTF just happened.
Onto the next day where I'll have patience and more love and be more positive... and it starts all over again. LOL
My boys aren't always that bad, but they like to get me to the point where I'm like.... I gave you 500 ways out and 500 threats and I'm gonna be good, but you got me to my breaking point and now you're surprised you have no iPad?!
They are good at testing.

I'm right there with ya! I ask DD to do something 5 times and she just looks at me like I have 5 heads. So, when I yell for the 6th time - she looks shocked and like she's gonna cry. Ummm, really???
Ugh, kids.

my DH have this same convo of patience and literally seen it go out the windows hours later. So no you aren’t alone.
My son is the most sweetest, caring and good kid. But he can also be a d!ck. Yeah, I said it lol.

I am right there with you.
Today I was at my school to volunteer for 2nd grade cart. His teacher was saying how sweet he is.
I kept thinking... this little d&ck. LOL

i gave up getting angry for lent on wednesday.
by thursday, i locked myself in the bedroom after throwing a fit due to a science project. 
just take it one day at a time, count to a thousand, redirect, etc etc. you are not alone in this

I can only say put your shoes on about 6x before I yell. And repeat this with about every other action involving my 5 year old. My 20 month old is pretty good and I never yell at her but she now says no quite snootily so I’ll be yelling at her in a couple of years too. It’s inevitable.

I feel like no one is listening to me anymore. It is so annoying!! I have to ask a thousand time for something to get done. I feel bad sending them off to school if I have yelled but then I kiss them and get them on the bus and I feel all is forgotten. Then bedtime and chaos comes along and forget it!! Im done just go to sleep so I can have some free time and watch tv!!! I need warm weather and for my kids to get outside!!!

I can't imagine "yell free day" and "mom" co-existing ever. My son is 7 and there has not been a day that I have seen him that I have not yelled. Oh well.
