Ava was and is still the same way. She could move ALL over the crib from the time she was born! Some babies will not be satisfied till they're completely mobile. Mine included

Children sitting still? Never heard of that one...
Mine is always kicking his legs and moving his arms around. He's going to be a lot of fun once he's a toddler.

YES...Anthony is never still unless he is sleeping or eating. I cant just hold him and have him "hang out" and if he does it only lasts 5 seconds....
He was very active while I was carrying him..I have a feisty one on my hands...just like mommy!

totally agree.
He also should still have his startle reflex (where he'll be on his back & look like he thinks he's fallling).
I have a book on physical development that said all of those flailing arm & leg movements and the startle reflex are precursors to crawling if they're put on their belly.
eta. My son always flailed his arms & legs so much that I couldn't keep him bundled when he was a baby.

Please after the first week I couldn't even swaddle him anymore. Whenever I cover him with anything it always comes off withing seconds.

Re: He wont sit still.....
Actually DS did have a moment last night where he was sitting on top of DH's belly and just stared at him non-stop for like 5 mins. My mom and I were calling him but he only continued staring at DH. No smile, just a long stare. Then he came out of it and was moving his arms and legs again...

Yup... totally normal. Just wait until your little one starts crawling or walking!
