checking an internet story

i just read a synopsis of a study done on the effects of eating/exercise and the timing of them.

how would i go about making sure that the sources are legit?

it's interesting information.
although it's a very small study, but i thought it was interesting. i would like to know that the source(s) are sound before i talk about it to anyone. would hate to sound like a fool because i read something online.

thanks.

if anyone is interested, this is the article:

10 people!?
Nobody would ever consider that a valid sample set....

I'm not discounting what they are trying to prove, just saying that a 10 person study is not scientific, and doesn't prove or disprove anything.

You'll definitely need to research more and find other papers, bigger tests, etc.

Six hours after eating the high-fat meal, all participants' triglyceride levels were the about the same, regardless of whether or not they had exercised.

This is someone going into more details about the study you posted.
