Yes, that's me today.
Days like this I wish I had a wine fridge in my office.

People emailing me asking me things that I told them 3 times this week already. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have typed, Per my email earlier this week....

I have my office door closed because I'm just done with people and a girl on my team IM's me- hey the girl from such and such vendor is here.
And I'm like- huh?
You know, that girl Kate.
Um ok I wasn't expecting her, I don't even work with her, maybe tell someone else.

Then my boss- rather than call, or even text, sends emails with just a subject line. Did you do this?
Next email- did you do that?
Next email- how about this, what happened with it?

Um, how about you call me? Or put it all in one email instead of 14 random thoughts fired out via a subject line of 14 separate emails.

Sounds like my day every day lol. Mgrs dont shows up until 10 am and then they ask a million questions on status updates that the team has already emailed them about. They ask if we have any questions, well I only sent you 5 emails yesterday asking because you refuse to answer your phone when I call. They set tight deadlines and yet refuse to make themselves avail to answer questions. Then they expect you to not be pissed off for having to stay late to meet deadline.

Yes.
I got a phone call from someone in Oregon looking for a food additive. She got my name and phone number from our Houston office.
That is a huge no-no in our company, we are never to give out names and phone numbers.
Just really pissed me off this morning.

"As per my previous e-mail..." is my favorite line to use. Or please see attached and then just forwarding the same effing e-mail I sent earlier.

But yeah, yesterday I was pretty done and I thought yesterday was Thursday, so doubly disappointing.

unfortunately, this is me more often than i would like. i feel like lately i've been around more and more stupid people.

case in point: Today, another teacher calls to say they are keeping two of my students to finish up something so they'd be late to math class. 30 mins later they come in- 5 mins before the end of the period. I ask what they were doing (assuming they were finishing a test or something) and they say "grading _______'s tests for community service hours"..............
