Sending Xrays from former dentist over to new dentist
What happens if you wish to switch dentists and you had xrays recently at office you want to leave? Is there a way to get the xrays to new dentist or do you have to take the xrays again at new office? Have never done this before.

Sending Xrays from former dentist over to new dentist
I just did this. They emailed them to the new dentist. But, they did take a new xray at the new dentist when I got there b/c it was a different machine.

Also bear in mind that if the new dentist has to take new Xrays- make sure your insurance will cover it.
My insurance only covers Xrays every 6 months for the bite wings and once a year for the full set.
