Furniture Shopping-Next big sale?
I've had my eye on a piece for my dining room. I know there's President's Day sales right now, but the one Raymour & Flanigan is offering isn't that great on the piece (about $20 off). Plus tax and shipping.
Does anyone know if there are anymore sale worthy "holidays" coming up, or should I bite the bullet and get it now? It's not a "must have" piece for my home right now, but something I'd want to get eventually.

I think the answer is in your last sentence. "It's not a "must have" piece for my home right now, but something I'd want to get eventually."
Since it's not an immediate need item, I would wait to purchase.

Furniture Shopping-Next big sale?
I found it it’s a popular item at Raymour it never has a great discount. I was following a dining set for about 6 months before we were ready to buy and it was always the same small dollar amount off. We got them to come down slightly but not much.
Maybe check out the outlet centers which I hear have good deals. Not sure if they offer delivery or if you need to carry out.

Same here. It almost never seems to be the piece I have my heart set on. Even if everything else is on major sale. You *MAY* be able to go and negotiate with them by paying cash- my FIL always seems to get great deals even through R&F meanwhile I'm over here like "are you sure it's not more? Take an extra $20 in case"

I have a friend whose dad works there. The best price you'll get is during their Friends and Family days twice a year.
But just because the price is showing at $20 off doesn't mean that's the price you will pay. Go in and negotiate! I never pay the price they show.
