What the Reproductive Health Act actually does
While political in nature to set up barriers against ultra-conservatives taking rights away, this law can be a medical benefit preventing barriers making it impossible for expectant mothers to choose the fate of a non viable fetus. We've been thinking about the term "abortion" all wrong. We're not talking about an intentional ending of life. If you know anyone who has been forced to endure the death of a fetus in utero, you will understand. Ask yourself: is induced labor an actual abortion?
What late-term termination is actually for

Thank you for posting this. Maybe a few of the other posters on here can learn a lesson or two if they read it

What the Reproductive Health Act actually does
"When Daniel and Taylor Mahaffey learned at 20 weeks that a pregnancy complication meant that their child would not survive, they just wanted the pregnancy to end. But because of a horrific law that has no basis but to torture and shame pregnant women, they were told they needed to leave the hospital, go home, and wait for their baby to die in utero.
That’s right. Taylor Mahaffey was forced to deliver a stillborn baby rather than be induced and end her suffering. It wasn’t about saving a child’s life — they all knew the baby would not survive outside the womb. But because of a “Women’s Health Law” that bans late term abortions, grieving parents were sent home to wait for their child to die. In utero. And a mother was forced to deliver that baby that had died inside of her."

Thank you for posting this. I’m actually deactivating my Facebook account because of the staggering amount of close-minded acquaintances I know on there posting assuming lies about this topic and I’m afraid I will start hating them.

I found it useless to even try and argue because no one listens I'm not anti-media by any means, but the headlines about this topic are SO off...

Exactly. People have misconstrued what the real meaning of this act is. So many people are posting memes that are just not true. I shake my head at the ignorance and move on. A little education and research goes a long way......

It's sad because it makes me look at people differently. And not based on their beliefs on abortion. On their ignorance and inability to do any research other than what the media feeds them.

This is such a good way of putting it. This applies not only to abortion.
It drives me nuts when I see memes being shared on facebook that have no factual basis. When I see one, I go "oh really..." type it into google, read about it, and in 10 seconds realize how misleading the meme is. WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE DO THIS???
Both sides are definitely guilty of sharing questionable memes, though I would say a higher percentage of those memes are from Trump supporters. Also, the liberal leaning memes usually has someone that points out that it's misleading. The Trump leaning memes (not conservative or republican) just have all the supporters agreeing and shouting down anyone who disagrees.

I have been doing the same research when I see a meme. It's crazy how misinformed people are. I just had an arguement with a relative for him throwing out random statistics with nothing to back it up.
