Who hires younger teens?
My DD is determined to get a job, got her working papers, but is only 14. I feel like most on-the-book places wouldn't hire a 14 year old. She doesn't want to babysit or do camp aide. Does anyone know of any businesses that hire 14 year olds?

That's where I started! My first job was a bagel store then a supermarket cashier. I never got working papers and was not on the books until my first office job at 18.

Who hires younger teens?
My daughter worked at McDonald's at 14. It was the only place we could find that hired that young. I have heard Dairy Queen does also, but there are not that many around.

Small businesses might hire her for office work. I did filing/mail/answered phones at my parent's office for years, and I know they still hire high school students to do that type of work.

pizza places usually! also idk where you are located, but i worked at raindew growing up at age 15 and they hire high school kids all the time

most delis wont hire you unless you are 18 because of the slicers and knives.

Who hires younger teens?
when i was 14 i got a job in the babysitting room at a gym. pay was decent and I got a free membership

Bakeries, pizzerias, ice cream/yogurt shops, small mom and pop grocery store/mini supermarkets (don't know if there are any on LI but they exist in NYC).
