Has anyone done an Ice Cream Birthday Party
My daughter is now begging for an ice cream birthday party. I've called a few places and some packages start at $2K!
I called Ben and Jerry's and all they do is a scoop party - no lunch, pizza or anything. Seems like alot of scooping for 2 hours.
Any suggestion? Looking for south nassau or plainview/syosset/huntington ideally...

What about a party at the house and have an ice cream truck come. A lot cheaper than at a place. Just do pizza and some games to keep them occupied and then have the ice cream truck pull up.

Has anyone done an Ice Cream Birthday Party
What about frozen yogurt? We've hosted and been to a few at our local shop and they're always fun and very affordable. The kids get unlimited yogurt and toppings!

Trust me. If I had a house big enough for more than a few kids I totally would.

Ah. Ill ask around at some of the yogurt places by us. What other things do they do other than eat? I'm looking for a place that also does games etc...

Have you tried Ice Cream Party Shoppe in SMithtown?
How old is she? There is a place called Once Upon A Sundae that has open play and then making ice cream sundaes.
International Delight Cafe in Bellmore looks pretty great too.

I have heard good things about Charlotte's Yogurt in Farmingdale.. Also try Coolmess there is one in roslyn-- not sure of other locations.

Ours does face painting and tattoos, games like limbo and freeze dance. They were really flexible about bringing your own stuff too so I had the kids make slime.

I don't think her friends would travel to Smithtown.. We're in Bellmore.
I called Once Upon a sundae - sounds perfect. They have a max of 25 kids and its possible I could end up with that many but her class alone is 21 kids....
I can't wait for the bday party circuit to be over.
