Just want to commiserate: anyone else's kid got the cooties now?
High fever, sore throat, puking, achy but tested negative for flu. Just as bad as when she had the actual flu. And right smack in the middle of concerts!

Tis the season!
And yes, sometimes things that are NOT the flu are just as bad as the flu.
Happened to me one year- thought I was dying. No joke, I thought it might be the end for me. 104 fever. Negative for flu.
Hope she gets well fast!

Just want to commiserate: anyone else's kid got the cooties now?
This is day 2 of my Dd having a fever and a cough. No sore throat or puking...she’s still eating and drinking normally. I don’t want to take her to the dr cauee I’m pretty sure they can’t do anything for her and I don’t want to expose her to even more germs,

UGH..... I'm just waiting. Reports from daycare of classmates puking already, my kids are both coughing like crazy, and I'm just praying it doesn't get worse.

My dad has it right now! Thank god we didn’t see them for Sunday dinner this week or we would all be sick, flu symptoms but not flu

We're all infected- but negative for flu and strep. A true wtf illness.
Fevers, painful sore throat, weakness. No puking etc

Sore throat last week for my DD, which turned into a cough (negative for strep). Sore throat for me this week, and now I have the cough. So annoying!

Negative for strep. But I took her back today bc she had swollen glands and pink eye and still running a fever. The dr said it's adenovirus.
