ordering flowers long distance
what's the best option you have found?
i have to order flowers for a coworker who just had a baby. i'll be placing the order, paying for it, and then expensing it.
i've never had to send flowers out of state, so i'm not sure what's the best avenue for this. do i use a service like 1800 flowers or do i find a local flower shop and call directly?
i'm limited to $75 (including tax and delivery)

I always use a local florist. Google a florist in their area and call them.

the flowers are gorgeous, the vases are better than those standard glass ones that just end up getting thrown out

I used a local florist back in July. She even sent me pictures of things she had in my price range and I picked from that.

i used proflowers. their website was so easy to use.
the flowers will arrive on thursday... mom and baby are expected to get home tomorrow. this will give them a day to settle in.
