What type of Christmas tree do you have?
December is going to be a lot of holiday related threads. I'll post a bunch of Hanukkah related threads as well.
What type of Christmas tree do you have?
We have a pre-lit fake tree that we've had for several years now.

Some years I do no tree. When I do get a tree, then I’ll get a real pre-cut tree.

Re: What type of Christmas tree do you have?
A 17 year old fake one that is not prelit and that has to be put together branch by ever loving branch.
Ever year we say we are going to get a new one but the tree itself is so pretty and real looking and we have a very narrow space for it and it fits so we always say eh eff it and keep it.
LOL
I'm way too anal about my tree to have a real one- I find they always look misshapen and non symmetrical and i just can't.

Same. I put out some decorations this weekend and may just throw lights all around my table that holds bottles of booze and call it a day.

Honestly if I didn't have a child I would SOOO do this. I am not into putting up a tree at all to be honest. Huge PIA.

I have a fake pre lit one. I would love a real one but I just don’t have the energy to water it and clean up pine needles all day long.

Fake pre lit, it’s several years old & most of the light have burned out so we had to add extra lights.

Real, pre-cut. It is a pain to take down and needles get everywhere at that point, but I would never get a fake one.

I love Xmas trees, but there is just no time for me. I’m usually away for Xmas and leaving the tree up with three cats while I’m away is not a good idea. So I skip it. I may do one this year because I’ll be in my city.

Re: What type of Christmas tree do you have?
Fake not pre-lit
we had a prelit I think at some point but I feel like something happened and the lights broke which is why we went with non pre lit one.
I don't do real trees it wouldn't survive a week in my house. I would kill it
I am not at all into putting up a tree. I do it for my kids and I don't even do it. My DH and DC do it and I see it when its done

fake pre lit, we got it last year and im so happy we did. I love real trees too, but its a pain in the ass to add one more thing to clean up constantly... and i never remember to water it either.

What type of Christmas tree do you have?
i used to have a fake, pre-lit.
since all the kids are grown and i'm too tired to decorate... we've decided to move to a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. it's perfect for us and the small house we're in.

We have no kids & a small apt, but we get the biggest tree that will fit. (real, pre-cut)
ETA- My DH remembers to water it, and I only find it messy when installing & dismantling. We vacuum when we are done & it is fine. The hardest part for me is getting into the stand.
