I've used Ken's Moving in Queens twice, my sister used them and a friend also used them twice.
No complaints, but can't remember the pricing.

We used Get moving USA 631.775.8787 over the summer. They are from Medford. I was very impressed with their service and their price beat all of the other movers I called. I called 20 movers on LI. I was very happy with their service. They were very professional and treated by things well.

We used Hall-Lane. We had A LOT of stuff. It took 5 men and 2 trucks to move everything. But, they were really good. I don't remember the price, but the final was actually lower than the estimate because they worked so quickly.
When you call the movers, make sure they can come to your house to see what you have to move. It's the only way they can give an accurate estimate.

Are you moving OFF LI?
I called several when I was moving off LI based on recs on here, but unfortunately they only dealt with LI moves.
We called three. Made appts with all. They came to the house. One was 3x what the other quoted, yet same approx poundage. From the two the one we ended up going with UNDER quoted us and we found ourselves putting a lot of our stuff at the curb because it wouldn't fit on the truck.
Good luck! It's so stressful, but once you're settled it'll all be worth it!

We recently got a ton of moving quotes. The best rates were Simply Moving, Dumbo and Men on the Move. We used Simply moving and a neighbor used Dumbo based on dates with no issues at all
