Dog treat question - don't move
Pets hardly gets touched anymore, but had a quick question. What's the best dog treats? I have an Australian Labradoodle. I've been giving her the Blue Buffalo treats and now hearing they are not so good for dogs. She likes them too. Want to get something similiar that's healthy and a lot of flavor.
Thanks

Re: Dog treat question - don't move
We get our dog chicken jerky from costco.
They are nice because we can rip them and give them pieces here and there.
My dogs are really picky. So they won't have any type of biscuit treats.

I buy Earthborn Bison treats (sometimes Lamb) because it comes in a 2lb bag. And we go through them fairly quick.
I buy them on Chewy.

Re: Dog treat question - don't move
It's the same as buying food for yourself. Check the ingredients. The less ingredients, the better it is.
We feed our dogs Natural Balance Chicken & Sweet Potato treats. We used to do a lot more mixes and flavors but my little one has been having trouble with any other protein but chicken. My dogs are both seniors now, so their bellies are iffy sometimes.
Before his food sensitivity, we gave them Old Mother Hubbard Treats. All the different flavors. Wellness soft treats sometimes as well. Baby carrots and raw string beans are really good for them too.
As far as long lasting bones - Bully Sticks, springs and braids are good for their teeth and totally digestible and won't cause any blockages (Rawhide is a no no even in larger breeds - not worth the risk)

We like Smart bones (not rawhide but still let them chew like they would rawhide). For treats/training, we use Wellness brand.

Trader Joe’s has a great selection of treats our dogs love them Stella and Chewy is also great, another favorite for my pups Also they (we have 2 dogs) love apples and carrots My 1 year old pup loves a bone called No Hide, it’s an all natural bone that looks like rawhide and is covered in organic chicken or beef
