Anyone recently lock in an oil price?

What's a good price lately for oil delivery per gallon? I hate having to call a bunch of companies and deal with their bargaining games every single year. We talked to a couple companies so far and the lowest quote we got was 2.99/gal cap.

I locked in at a cap of $2.99, also. I just switched to OSI after being with a company that was bought by Petroleum. We were with them 16 years, and they wouldn't go lower than $3.59! I tried twice. After I said "see ya", and called to let them know that I wouldn't need their services any more, all of a sudden, they said, "oh no, don't go! You can have $2.99!"
I was like yeah, NO. You should have offered me $2.99 in the first place. I am not stupid. And I hung up. It is all a game.

We converted to gas a couple of years ago but I just got a “come back” email from Slomins for $2.89. It was $2.99 at the kiosk in the mall today

We have gas now, but prices are just going to go up. I read an article about how high it will go this winter esp with the newest mid-east problems. $2.99 is pretty low, I'd lock it in.

2.99 is great! we are at 3.09 and I called and they are now at 3.29

I'm pretty sure that we locked in at $2.89 with Slomins. I was pissed cause last June we locked in at $1.99.
