I had used Tailoring by Rosie in Holbrook. It was just for a small job, but I chose her because of the good reviews.

I used her once and had a terrible experience. Granted I started with an awful bridesmaid dress, was 6 months pregnant, and didn't have a lot of time but I ended up having to buy a new dress bc it wasn't even wearable. BTW, I was recommended to Rico's and that was how I got started with Rosie and ended up working with her at her home shop so I wouldn't go to them either.

I would recommend Tonya's Tailoring in Sayville. She is great.

Jenn, my mom is a seamstress, but here in Western Nsssau. She does mostly evening gowns, wedding gowns, etc. I know you said Suffolk, but she is great, and won't let you leave until it's perfect.

After I wrote that I realized I'm willing to travel for a good one! It's for my daughters flower girl dress but it's very detailed and it's like a mini wedding dress Chat Icon I love it. But I bought it a couple months ago and it was tight but almost perfect. She tried it on last night and it's just too tight around the bodice. I'm so upset and stressed over it. The wedding is in 5 weeks!
