I even out colors of m&ms (if I have 3 red, 2 green, and a yellow, I’ll eat 2 red, 1 green so I have 1 left of each color and then eat them)

I eat my meals proportionally so at any point my main course and sides all have equal proportions left . I then leave it so there’s a bite of each left. I order the last bites in terms of least to most favorite.

I do this too!!! DH thinks I'm crazy but he also knows not to throw off my ratios Chat Icon

I do not eat hard boiled eggs often but when I do they have to be hot. I want to gag at those bags of already peeled, cold eggs they sell in the store. Chat Icon

I hate dark meat

I have finally come to the conclusion at my age that I just do not like Chinese food. I have tried to like it but for some reason, while I eat it I can't help but think that the chicken isn't really chicken and the beef isn't really beef and my stomach starts to turn and its in the trash after 5 minutes. I just don't trust it.

Chicken does not belong with pasta or with sauce red or white - IMO.

Alfredo sauce is a big no as well.

anything that tastes like the sea is also a big no in my book.

I can't have yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast because I don't like the way they taste with my coffee

I HATE with a passion, cucumbers! Cannot stand the taste, at all. Nothing cucumber flavored either - like cucumber vodkas that are everywhere now - yuck!

Raisins are ok, by themselves, but NEVER in anything. Not in cereal, bread and especially not with chocolate (way to ruin some good chocolate!)

Lettuce should never come into contact with bread. It's fine in a salad or whatever, but never on a sandwich.

I love ketchup on my cheeseburger, but the ketchup cannot touch the cheese - has to go on the side of the burger without the cheese.

I love the smell of coffee but hate coffee itself or anything with even a hint of coffee flavor

i will eat cucumbers but cucumbers in water- GAG
Or cucumber vodka? Soooo gross.
I feel like cucumbers have no taste when you eat them, but when they start infusing shit with them the taste is so artificial and overwhelming. Yuck

Re: Spinoff- food quirks

I Don’t eat mushrooms. They are dirty looking and squeak in your teeth. It’s like chewing erasers

I don’t like any seafood but will eat tuna in a pouch. But not cooked whole tuna filet. I don’t know where the logic is there.

I get nauseas when someone drinks while there’s still food in their mouth. Literally turns my stomach

I don’t like wine. Not white, red, rose, etc. not only do I not like the taste, and the second it hits my stomach, the acid risses right up my throat. I also hate tequila and anything with tequila in it. The aftertaste stays with me all day.

I can’t stand provolone , bleu cheese or Feta. When I accidentally grab a piece of provolone from a cheese platter or anti pasta - I immediately spit it into my napkin. Cannot choke it down. This is why when I make a cheese platter, I put little signs in each pile so nobody else has to suffer lol

I love cold Italian food. spaghetti, meatballs, eggplant parm. I don’t like it reheated. I also love cold Chinese food.

My DH eats provolone off the freaking block every single night. The smell of it is sooo bad that i literally gag. It stinks up the whole room. Like I need to burn a candle or something because my living room smells like bad ass.

One time I tore my entire fridge apart because I could not identify what was rotting in there. I thought something fell behind a shelf and went bad. And when I found nothing I started panicing that something died in the walls.
Turns out- NOPE! It was just that rancid cheese.
It's bad when cheese smells like a dead rotting corpse.

Vom!!!!

Just thinking of the smell is making me gag!
DH puts bleu cheese on his salad every night and I can smell it while he eats it. Watching him eat the little pieces gives me that watery pre vomit mouth

Blechhhhhh
