3 year old birthday party
The other post inspired me to start thinking about DD’s birthday. Any thoughts on the following parties? Kids will range from 2-7.
Stuff a teddy at Cool Crafts in Wantagh (I think DD would LOVE this).
Nunleys (she has 15 kids in her class alone so this might be the most economical route).
LICM (this is my last choice, it doesn’t include anything and there’s always like 10 parties going on at the same time)

I've done Cool Crafts (for ceramics painting) and Nunley's. They're both great and you can't really go wrong.
If you think you'll have more than 30 people, then Nunley's is your better option.
I personally would skip LICM. Their party is good, but there's a lot of walking around (going on a treasure hunt) so it's harder to keep a large group together, especially younger kids.

Re: 3 year old birthday party
I wasn't crazy about Nunley's... the party felt so rushed and the tables were kind of squashed in the corner. It was like ok quick go on the carousel... again.. again! Now paint, now eat, ok good you're done, happy birthday happy birthday now get out there's another party coming in or we're opening to the public.
We had DD's birthday at Hempstead Lake State Park Carousel which has an adjoining party room. You rent the space and then provide your own food/drinks. Worked out great for us!
ETA: Never been to LICM or Cool Crafts, but I love the stuff a teddy party idea or even the painting ceramics.

Yes, my concern is that DD would be kind of bored with the carousel. Hempstead lake sounds great but I want to provide as little as possible
I was also looking at the chocolate duck for cupcake decorating which DD would like but she has a weirdly long attention span so I don’t know how well that would go over with the other kids.

FWIW, I've hosted a party at Nunley's and also attended one there. Neither felt rushed at all.
The kids basically sit on the carousel as long as they want. They come off to eat, do a craft, and sing happy birthday.

Hmm, ok. Did you do before they open (which is what I would do)? How old were the kids? I feel like DD would get tired of the carousel but maybe not if her friends are there.

We did this for DD turning 4. My sister did a joint party for her kids turning 2 & 4. It’s a nice, calm party. Well done and kids from 1-10 loved it. I think the best age is 3-5. Only critique is their pizza is not tasty. The kids really enjoyed the craft. We did the shorter party and it was just enough without being boring. We did it before they opened, which left the day free for parents.

We did the early party before it opened to the public for DS's 4th birthday. I agree that 3-5 is a perfect age. He didn't want to get off at the end of his party, so I don't think it's boring. Also, they set up small games on the side/outside (depending on time of year) like horseshoes or something. I forget exactly.
