And while we are on rants this morning....
....is using a turn signal now passe'?
Should new cars just do away with them completely?
Because nobody seems to use their signal anymore.
I'm driving behind someone on the way to work this morning and they suddenly just slam their brakes so they can turn into an office building's lot.
No signal, nothing.
Really? How hard is it to signal so I know what the eff you are doing?
Honestly for me, signalling is just a habit, I don't even think about doing it, I just automatically do it.
I feel like 90% of people on the road need to take a driving class.

Yup!! I see this all the time! I always use my signal!!! I guess other people don't mind that others might rear end them!

Like you said, it's a habit for me as well. I don't even think about it, it just naturally happens when I know I'm making a turn. It irritates me so much when I see a car making a turn without any signals.

Definitely one of my biggest pet peeves! Like, seriously, how hard is it to use a turn signal? Not optional, people!

I hate this! I always want to give the finger or mouth a$$hole, but I’ll get fined if I do that here.
LOL at GoldenRod for the turn signal meme. If you only knew some of the engineers at BMW. They can be pretty clueless at times.

this reminds me of a conversation i had, a while back.
the person i was speaking with said the following... and i completely agree.
"people know how to operate a motorize vehicle, but they don't know how to drive."
so true!

LOL and even the operating part is questionable!
We were at a stop sign recently Dead stopped. And the guy in front of us backed into is. Didn't even look behind him just floored it in reverse.
To this day I am unsure what he was thinking.

This drives me mad! These a-holes are gonna cause accidents.
When i was learning how to drive, I was taught to pretend that the turn signal unlocked the steering wheels ability to switch lanes and turn. It stuck with me all these years

Years ago, I worked at a job that had a muli level parking garage. There was only one way in and you just made left turns all the way up to your company's assigned spaces. My co-workers always laughed because I put my signal on for every turn. It was just a habit.

I feel like it is eve n worse as people rely on google maps/GPS for dirctions.
The phone says in 250 ft , turn right
Driver doesn't know how far 2250 feet is, keeps driving (may or may not get in right lane)
phone says, turn right on to XYZ street.
Driver realizes he is about to pass XYZ street & makes a sharp right.

Down here in N.C., I find that tons of drivers don’t use theirs... I don’t get it. It is just as automatic as putting on a seatbelt!!

EXACTLY THIS. i almost always signal ..my DH..its hit or miss..lol.
