Mini-vent: Amazon product answers

It doesn't really affect my life, but it's just annoying.

I hate reading Amazon questions and answers for products where the responses are something like:
"I don't know, I didn't get the product yet"
"gave as a gift, do not know the answer "
"Must be a mistake. I didn’t purchase this product "
"Do not know "
"I have no idea.. sorry. "

These are actual responses.
I get the emails from Amazon asking for answers, but if I don't know, I just don't answer the question! How hard is it to not type a response if you don't know?

I think this all the time, too!! I do try to answer the questions they send me... if my response is helpful. I think some people are just dumb and think they HAVE to answer.

Yes! So annoying. And then you see "25 answered questions", and most of them are either repeats or have no helpful answers.

Then again sometimes the questions are really stupid too.

And of the 25 questions, 15 of them are the same question..

Q:"How long is the cable?"
A: 6 feet

Q:"How long is the cable?"
A: It's 6 feet, I think.

Q: "Is this the 6 foot or 9 foot cable?"
A: I don't know, I didn't get the item yet

Q: "How many feet is the cable?"
A: I don't have a tape measure, but I think it's about 6 feet.

.... Nobody bothers reading the questions and "answers" already posted before asking the same question again....

I love the car products that aren't really car specific, like a cigarette lighter USB adapter or something...

"Will this work in a 2015 Honda Pilot?"
"Can I use this in a 2016 Toyota Tacoma?"

And the person asking the question probabaly never read the product description that explained that it was a 6 foot cable!

On a semi-realted note- someone gave a 1 star review to a product the company I work for sells, because it wasn't what they thought it was. The product description (and pictures) is abundantly clear & there is nothing to indicate it was the type of prdouct she thought it was.

So dumb!
