I’ve been a prime member for years, but recently the shipping has been awful. Normally I dont care, but I ordered something that has taken 2 weeks that was supposed to be prime so I opened a chat to complain and this lady, Mae, was so awful. She ended up cancelling all of my current order and deleted my chat so I can’t open it to screen shot what happened!

Just wanted to put this out here so it doesn’t happen to someone else. If you open a chat and it’s Mae, cancel the chat Chat Icon .. think I’ll be sticking to email, although I’m not sure if I’m canceling for good now.

I find some of them so inept, and some of their responses crack me up!!! I did have a great one recently though. I bought a mattress for my DD, it's the kind that comes rolled in a box. It was AWESOME!!! SOOOO comfy. BUT, it was too high for her loft bed. I hadn't even thought of that. So I chatted with someone and she said I could return it. I said right, but I can't get it back into the tiny box! She said UPS would come and get it! I said, really?! They will just throw a label on it and put it on the truck?! LOL. She said she needed to get a supervisor. So the supervisor got on the chat, told me to keep or donate the mattress, and they would just refund me in full, over $200! I was shocked!! I thought that was pretty great customer service! So we donated the mattress to a family that needed one after having a fire. Worked out great!

That is awesome!! Im glad that it’s maybe just someone having a bad day and not how they normally conduct customer service!

omg, that stinks!

I've had nothing but good luck with their customer service. I ordered something and it arrived in a box and packed in a way that made me question if it was new or used - and they immediately gave me a refund, told me to keep the item and sent a new one

I actually cancelled my prime recently because of the awful shipping. Let alone then the post office scanning my items saying they came only to have nothing on my door step. Not to mention how bad they treat their workers

Omg that's crazy! I had a similar online chat experience today with a HelloFresh customer service rep that was awful at their job. I was charged for what should have been a free trial box, and they gave me a few excuses for why I was charged, all of which were invalid and untrue statements. Then they also just cancelled the convo abruptly and closed it out so I couldn't go back to it. But luckily I had been taking screen shots all along to text to my dh at work. I then called and got my money refunded very quickly, so I guess with certain companies its better to speak over the phone vs online chat. That's so crazy that she would cancel your orders though! If I were you I'd definitely try to speak to a supervisor or someone in charge over the phone to report what happened.

Never had a problem. Put a complaint in online once and was called back within the minute...
