Disposal of medical supplies
I found a box of old medical supplies from when I was having IV treatments done at ny house.
The box contains sharp containers, expired Lovenox, tubing, and IV butterfly kits.
Does anyone know where I can dispose of this safely?

Call your local hospital, they may be able to help. When I was watching a diabetic dog for 2 weeks, I had a ton of needles here (Forgot to give them to her mom when she picked her up) I called the local hospital and they said I just needed to put them in a sharps container or even an old Detergent bottle (as long as it's that thick plastic and it closes tightly) they would take it. I had to go to the specific office at the hospital for dropping sharps and put it into one of those big red bins for hazardous material.
They may be able to take your expired meds as well. Worth a quick call

I found the nursing home in my town took them. I did a google search and put in my zip code and got a list of places.
