Herniated disc

It’s bad. I’m in so much pain. My legs are both numb. I’ve been to the chiropractor and he wants me to see a spine specialist for an MRI and he mentioned epidural injections.

Anyone have this? Did it help? I’m in so much pain i don’t know how I’m going back to work in a few weeks (teacher).

I have 2 herniated discs in my neck. The orthopedist prescribed a steroid pack to reduce the inflammation. The steroids helped reduce the inflammation just enough to relieve the pressure and the disc slipped back in a bit.

My mom has done the epidural shot. She said it was painful going in but it did help - it took about 24 hours to take effect though.

Get away from the Chiropractor immediately! Get yourself to see a very good orthopedic or even better a neurosurgeon. The epidural shot can provide relief it did for me for about 2 years but ultimately I ended up going under the knife for a microdisectomy.
