Ok here's another hypothetical spinoff to strangers with kids, drunk parent
Now I'm thinking up all sorts of hypothetical scenarios lol
Mom (or dad) has some kids in the car, getting ready to drive off, and the parent looks possibly stoned or buzzed. Of course, you have no actual evidence of this as there's no visible crack pipe or booze in hand. By the time you call the cops the parent would be gone. What do you do? Do you get involved? Do you mind your business?

Let air out of their tire.
I almost did this to a friend. But he ended up letring me drive them home. No way was I letting him leave.
They are putting too many people in danger. Something needs to be done.

If I knew them, I would offer to drive them home. I would def speak up if it was a stranger or call the cops.

I'm going to be real here...if I don't know the person, in this day and age, I would call the police and let them handle it. I wouldn't trust that someone who might be on drugs or drunk would handle being questioned well and you never know who would take extreme actions.

I highly, highly doubt I would pay enough attention to a random stranger to notice if they were drunk or high.
If there is one thing I've learned from these threads its that you guys are FAR more observant of random people than I am.

This was a hypothetical based on the other thread. Same here. I'm probably the least observant person I know. People always tell me things like "remember that marching band that came through the living room the other day?" and I'm always thinking wtf! where was I?!?  I have a short attention span and tune people out mid sentence. Everyone sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher to me lol. I have a real problem

Agreed. Also, you DON'T know by looking at someone.
Look at this man... This is Jim Breuer... who has NEVER smoked pot in his life and is pretty outspoken against it... especially since everyone assumes he's a stoner after his role in Half Baked. He looks stoned ALL THE TIME.

How does someone "look" buzzed? How could you possibly make that call if you don't even know them?
It seems like this hypothetical would have to be based on evidence, in which case yes I would call the police if I knew someone was unsafe to drive (like I watched them down 4 beers and then stumble to the car).
