Birthday Party idea - 5 yr old
I am so sick of Bounce U and want to host a different party. I will have kids from age 1.5 - 6 at the party.
I was thinking Krafty Hands -- where you paint and dance, but this is over 30 mins from where I live (Floral Park/New Hyde Park/Franklin Square area).
Any suggestions closer?

I am in the same area as you, maybe try Party Art in Bellerose Village? My 5 yr old went to a birthday party there in April, and it was very cute.

Really? That is odd.
ETA I looked at the website, it says they do parties starting for children who are turning 5 for the basic party. The extras start at 8. I would call and ask, it was a great party, and it is so close!

The first hour was the craft, then there was pizza, some dancing & games, and then cake. The only downside I remember was that, unlike most party places, they do not provide any food. Parents are responsible for all pizza, drinks, and cake.

Is this for a boy or girl? Because there is Ritzy, Glitzy, Girlz Club on Jericho in NHP...they do a spa party for little girls, it's very cute!
