Where do you buy your curtain rods?
I am looking to replace mine. I usually bought at Bed Bath and Beyond but the ones I like are way too long and I don't want the rod to be heavier than necessary. It's for curtains for sliding door.

They have about 700 choices, or at least they did a few years ago when I needed curtain rods.

I just went through this for our sliders
I bought my rods and curtains at bed bath and beyond
I used longer screws to screw them into the beams rather than the screws that came in the box
So far so good
What size are you looking for? For standard sliders the Cambria elite brand I picked up worked fine length wise

Its in Kohls shopping center

We go here too, esp for hard to find sizes or situations (like our corner windows)

Too funny as I think I am going to get a rod from Bed Bath and Beyond in the Cambria brand. I wanted to get the smaller size and I think it could work according to where my beam is. I didn't want the bigger size as it was too much excess and would make it heavier. That is the problem I had with the last one, plus it wasn't in the beam.
Anonymous - Can I ask what width rod you got for the sliders? It seems like we are both dealing with the same thing. I wanted to make my rods go wide to show my molding, but I am going to try to get by with the 48-88 inch so I don't have excess rod and weight hanging on the wall.
