What is the safest way to send a large amount of money to someone?
What is the best way to send a large amount of money to someone? It's from one family member to another out of state. Would it be wire transfer or certified check? Sorry if this is an ignorant question. Not sure what is safest these days.

I would do a wire transfer. If you can't do a wire, then I would do a certified check sent priority overnight.

A couple of hundreds: Venmo, chase quickpay, deposit directly in account
Thousands - wire transfer

Not sure if there's a limit, but in Bank of America, if I have their bank account info, I can make a transfer....not sure if they need to be bank of america members though....if you have the same banks, I would look into that possibility. Avoids fees.
