full mass for a wedding
About how long it would be for a Friday evening wedding? I believe the church starts at 4pm if that helps. I've heard anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours (which seems extremely long to me). Trying to figure out the travel logistics to the wedding.

Re: full mass for a wedding
A normal mass is about an hour so a wedding mass should be about the same.

It will never be 2 hours! A normal Catholic Mass is around 45 min so figure about an hour.

My husband's cousin's nuptial mass was the longest mass ever, in that it was almost 2 hrs. my son was the ring boy and he wasnt quite 3 yet and lord, it was torture being in the crying room for so long..lol.

Forever. They’re usually about an hour but always feel so long. I did once sat through one that was 2.5 hours between the 57 brides maids/sand ceremony/unity candle. In a church without air conditioning. In July. Neither the bride nor groom were the slightest bit religious.
Whenever I get a wedding invite and find out it isn’t a full mass I’m like hallelujah, you get extra in your envelope as a thank you.

I would first want to know what religion because I have been to ones (not catholic) that are hours.

They are Catholic; should have included that in the original post

I assumed Catholic, so my answer stands, about an hour.

Re: full mass for a wedding
The mass itself will likely be just under an hour; there's often a receiving line though, which, depending upon the number of guests, could take some time to get through.
