So who has done it? Don't know why DH is so eager to do this. I get nervous just thinking about it.

I did it! It was fun, definitely a bucket list item. I did it in NJ about 10 years ago.

I've done the simulator version, where you're in a huge tube with a fan. You're "free falling", but if things go terribly wrong, you only fall about 10 feet tops, usually more like 5.

I've gone twice - once at Skydive the Ranch and once at Skydive Long Island. Both great experiences.
Taking my nephew to Skydive LI this month as a grad gift!!

I did about 6 years ago. At Skydive Long Island.
Took me a long time to finally agree to do it. My brother constantly asked me to go with him. One day I said yes and he was shocked. We booked it immediately before I changed my mind
It was me, him and my ex. It was incredible!
My brother jumped 1st so he was waiting when I landed. I was barely on the ground when he came running up to me asking if I wanted to do it again right now that they would give us a great discount. I told to hell no. As incredible as it was the fight up had me so anxious! But gliding down was awesome.
6 yrs later I'm thinking I may do it again in the future.

I did it a few years back! It was awesome! I was scared all the way till we jumped out. Then it is kind of soothing, gliding in the air over the blue water. Also did it in Long Island. The thrill and then the calm was an experience I will never forget. Loved it and want to do it again.
My DH will never so I have to find another person to come with me.

I did it almost 20 years ago out in Las Vegas. I did a tandem jump with someone on my back. Everything was awesome except the landing. We hit the ground so hard I cracked one of the knee pads I was wearing! My knee was hurting after that but no serious injury. I was kind of pissed though...I always see people landing so softly it was the last thing I was worried about.

I did it when I was in college and was injured. It was fun though. Someone that worked in my office died doing it. Not trying to dissuade anyone. It's exhilarating, but accidents do happen. I probably won't do it again.

I did it when I was like 21 at the Ranch up in New Paltz. Its almost 20 years later and it is still one of the single greatest moments of my life. It was INCREDIBLE. If I didnt have kids, Id do it again in a heartbeat.
