noisy office

Why is it that the loudest people in an open office NEVER SHUT THE FLUCK UP ?

Talking about the most inane stuff so that the entire floor can hear.
Between the keyboard pounder and the talker, I'm going bonkers today.
I usually only wear one earbud, but it's both of them today !

As the loud person in the office, I apologize. I don't mean to be, but it's who I am as a person.

I'm also a keyboard pounder. But I think it's because I type SO fast.

But I don't talk all day non-stop. I'm at reception and sit by myself most of the day.

This is why I thank the sweet Lord baby Jesus that I have my own office.
I just this morning had to slam my door.
There is a group of hens who sit out there who whenever someone comes in to the office who they haven't seen in a while they all start with the loud, high pitched, phony screams. "OH MY GOD, HIIIIIIIIIIIIIII"

I want to put a hot poker in my ear listening to it.
And it's every.single.time.
