NYC Museum of Natural History
Biting the bullet and taking the kids in tomorrow - they are 6 & 4- any suggestions on places to eat around the museum, and any tips to try and make the trip easier- we will be driving in. Thanks!

Re: NYC Museum of Natural History
We went to Jacob's Pickles after for dinner last year. It was cute and fun. Drinks are good too. LOL If you need one after a day with the kids.
They'll love the musuem. We did the planeterium there and some other stuff. There's a small cafeteria for a light lunch in the museum too.

I think it's a half mile or even less.

Re: NYC Museum of Natural History
Good news. The museum should be empty tomorrow because the weather is supposed to be lovely. Sunday will be a nightmare because of the rain. There is a parking garage at the Museum. The entrance is on 81st street between Columbus and Central Park West. It's a little pricey but very convenient. Just get there early.
Restaurants: Patsy's Pizza (74th & Columbus) Jacob's Pickles Five Napkin Burger (84th & Broadway) Shake Shack (right across from the Museum on 77th & Columbus) Cilantro (really good mexican) on Columbus between 83rd & 84th
Have fun!
ETA: One other thing: Try to decide what you want to do before getting to the museum. There are lots of choices so it just makes it a little easier.
