Every time I am in a rush
I know .. first world problem
Went to the gym, decided to get a “quick” mani pedi & wax at my usual place. Girl that is starting my pedi is the slowest person in the entire planet. Her spirit animal is a f$cking snail
I have a ton of work to catch up on before a drs appt at 2 - which I still have to shower and shave before I go.
Why. Just why
I may have to stop at just a pedicure to save time
And walk around w a mustache

Without fail happens to me every time. You would think I would learn to stop trying to squeeze things in when I am in a rush but I never learn!

I don’t try anymore to do anything quick. It never really works, and it just adds stress to my day. I now plan out things with extra time involved. My time is valuable; I try not to waste it.

every single time.
christmas eve was the last time it seriously happened to me.
i had a melt-down in the nail place. i yelled that it shouldn't take all MF day to do a regular mani and was my eye brows. lol
i never learn

Got out of there in record time. (FWIW, I came in at 12:15 to get nails/waxing and was out the doot at 12:50 in time for my 1:30 work meeting).
Money $$ talks.

Ditto. I am way too much of a stressed out person with anxiety. I get all uptight if I think I am going to be late or have to rush.
So squeezing something in is not an option for me anymore

Shit, they already get too much from me lol I got mani with just clear to speed things up but I still have a hairy lip. Gonna have to run by there tmrw sometimes.

If I'm in a rush, I'd do only a change of nail polish instead of manicure... but I have learned not to do many things on the same day, because it stresses me out. Although that's a good excuse to get a back massage while my nails are drying

I don't get my nails done regularly, i do my own. When i do its a treat, so i make sure i have the time to enjoy it. I feel like if you are paying for the service you deserve to sit and enjoy it.... qq
