It has been a few years since the question was thrown out and I am wondering what has changed. I currently have Verizon but considering T Mobile. Your thoughts on T mobile if you have it. The one thing is my husband travels back and forth to Virginia. Other than that , no other travel. So the only concern is coverage.

we just switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and we have been very happy with the service. We don't travel regularly. we just came back from Kalahari and the only issue we had was when we were in the wooded areas of the poconos. Other then that service has been fine.

My sister switched from Verizon to T Mobile and she is counting the days until her contract is up-I haven’t had a full conversation with her without having to call her back since she switched

We've used all the major carriers and found TMobile to be the best, by far.

I switched from Verizon to T mobile 3 months ago...no difference except for the cheaper bill and 5 brand new I-phones! No issues, free Netflix, great website...I really am happy.

Re: T-Mobile

My Dh started wtih Tmobile before we were married..sometime in like 2001 I think; he's been a customer ever since. I joined on and we have a family plan since we got married in 04.

We travel all over and its never an issue unless you're in mountain areas with bad cell reception.

Re: T-Mobile

My mom has T-Mobile and loves it. I use it when I go home to visit and I’ve never had any issues. I also use it as my regular service in Germany, and it’s been good. I do have problems with it in the mountains, though. But I think that’s true for any cell service.

DH has T-Mobile. His service sucks. Always has dropped calls or no service at all.

Re: T-Mobile

There's serious talks about T-mobile buying out Sprint. If it goes through, I'm not sure what that will mean to customers.

I've had t-mobile for over 15 years. I've never had a problem. I've been using the voice and text over wifi for many years, so in a lot of "dead zones", I have great coverage, since I can use wifi instead of cell signal.
Some other providers are starting to implement this, but T-mobile has been using it for many years.

T-Mobile and Spring are merging anyway... I switched from Verizon to Sprint and am very happy. I was paying $115 a month for ONE line WITHOUT unlimted data.

With Spring I have 4 lines with unlimited everything and its $175 per month. Plus they paid off my old contract with Verizon.

Verizon has this. It's great.

Yes, heard they are merging. My contract is up with Verizon in September so I will wait it out and see what happens.
