Cigna v. United Healthcare
I currently have Cigna but have the choice to change to United Healthcare. Any thoughts?

Cigna v. United Healthcare
To many unknown variables to say one is better than the other. Depends upon the plan offerings, the network of doctors / hospitals, co-pay rate, deductible rate. I have CIGNA as my primary and Aetna as my secondary. Had BCBS in the past. Never had issues with any of them, but then again, it is the type of plan and the different level that my company offers that makes a difference.

This.
Also, see if your doctors accept both.

That's exactly what I needed to know. The coverage is basically the same, I was just wondering if one was easier to deal with than the other or had slightly better perks (i.e gym reimbursement, etc.)
Thank you.

Perks are part of the package your employer chooses and pays for.

Cigna v. United Healthcare
Too many variables but I’ve had both and United was far better, but we also had a better plan through the employer. Cigna covered NOTHING again, at the discretion of my employer

Re: Cigna v. United Healthcare
I've had UnitedHealthcare for many years and have always been happy. My plan is very good and covers virtually everything, but I have found their customer service to be excellent.

I have Cigna now and its covers the most but it's because of the plan options offered. Never had an issue
