Fav show for a girl's day in NYC
Going into the city in June. A few of us go for our birthdays. Any Broadway shows worth seeing and best way to get tix?
I've seen a lot. I know a few are a lot more and not looking to be broke.
Any suggestions? THanks
Oh, and my friend said not Beautiful bc she's not a Carole King fan. Oh well. LOL

I highly recommend Wicked especially for a girls day.
My next two that I have tickets for but haven't seen yet are Waitress and Dear Evan Hanson.

Fav show for a girl's day in NYC
Before I saw Come From Away, Wicked was the only show I would pay for to see again. Now they're both on my list. Come From Away is THE MOST AMAZING show. Can't say enough good things

Really? I loved it and have seen it a few times. But i get how some people love some shows and not others.
Meant to say I also saw Wicked, but it was like 12 years ago. THat's why it wasn't on my list. LOL

I was annoyed by it which is odd for me as even shows that are just eh for me I'm able to enjoy something about... but not Wicked.

Come from Away is hands down one of the best shows I've seen (other than Hamilton, obviously). But I also LOVED Dear Evan Hansen and really enjoyed Waitress a lot. Any of them would be a great choice. (I also liked The Band's Visit a LOT, but it's not a popular choice, I don't think.)

I just saw it on Sunday and it was fantastic - if you were a fan of the movie or understand the general theme you will appreciate it - it was laugh out loud funny and a super talented cast!

We just saw the Jimmy Buffett musical on our NYC girls weekend. A fun show - not going to win Tonys but really a good time.

Come From Away was truly excellent. I’ve never before experienced sitting in an audience where everyone stood for a simultaneous round of applause at the same time, like instantly.

I want to see Mean Girls with my friends! That one looks great!
You could also hit up "Opry City Stage" for dinner. We went this weekend and it was great! They have live music and the food is yum!
