End of apartment lease
Sorry, this is probably a stupid question. If a lease terminates on a particular date, can you move out ON that date, ( so it could be late that day by the time you’re completely moved out), or do you have to be out BY that date (so have to move out the day before?). Thanks!

End of apartment lease
We paid monthly so we had to vacate the last day of the month, which was the 31st. Our super lived in the building so he was available for final inspection when we finished moving around 9pm.

That day. Typically your lease terminates on the last day of a month, so you can stay through that day.
