Strange friend request on Facebook
I don't know what is going on lately but in the past month I've gotten 8 friend requests from men I do not know. They are not connected to any friends or family I know. My facebook account is set to private. Anyone else have this happen. I'm thinking its some type of scam thing.

I get at least a few a month. I just delete them.

If you follow certain pages & comment on them, then anyone that follows that page can see. I stopped commenting on this travel page because I got a few friend requests that were obviously from that. Now I don't get them anymore.

Same thing has happened to me recently. All of a sudden getting strange friend requests - all from men. I just delete them

I've been getting them a lot. It's the weirdest thing. They're always doctors or military men. My theory is they're Russian bots targeting me because of my political activity on facebook. I know it's a crazy theory but it just seems targeted for some reason.

I think this is it. All of the guys who friend request me are from the military or at least posing to be from there.
