Do I tip?
I live in SC, we are having landscapers come and pull out a tree, install 3 palm trees and some bushes and ornamental grass. And then put down mulch. Do I tip on top of the $$$$ I am paying?

My DH is a landscaper. Most people do not tip, however, he does on a rare occasion get tips from his continuing customers. It is not necessary, because you are probably spending a lot of $$. Is what is appreciated is giving the workers cold water

I don't think it's necessary. DH is a contractor so does manual labor and doesn't get tips.
I do always offer cold water bottles for the guys working and DH likes to offer to buy pizza for lunch if the guys are there all day.

the company i used to work for (and SO still works there) didn't do the same thing, but something similar.
they greatly appreciate something to drink and a snack/lunch, if possible... but DEFINITELY something to drink.
an occasional tip is fun and awesome, but not necessary or expected... since you're already spending so much $$.
