I don’t have a dog, but I’d sure as hell use one for my cats if I could (they are indoor cats.)
I do look at people that have them sometimes, but then I think they just love their dog and and they are a caring person.
Go for it!

We love our dog but I absolutely roll my eyes at people who bring their dogs to stores, especially in dog strollers. They are domesticated animals, not children, and should stay out of stores.

Re: dog strollers
When my guy couldn't walk too far anymore but we didn't want to leave him alone, I bought a baby stroller so he could still hang with us. I didn't care about the curmudgeons who made a negative face/comment. Most people did want to stop and pet him which was definitely a weird interaction at first. It was more important to me that my little old man be out in the fresh air and be able to relax when his legs couldn't keep up with his spirit.

Re: dog strollers
I think they are fine if you dog is old, has problems walking etc. If the dog is young and able bodied, why can't it just walk on a leash?
There is a woman in my neighborhood who has one and walks her dog in it every morning- but her dog is missing a leg, is almost blind and is very old.

Re: dog strollers
I have one. My Pomeranian (she's adopted) is unable to walk long walks because she was most likely abused by her first owners. She had a broken hip (which she had to a piece removed) and we had to get her leg fixed.
But she loves the outdoors and when she sees the stroller coming out she gets so excited.
We usually go for a 3 mile walk and my shih tzu gets tired so she will hop in.
It's great because if we walk to the deli it's nice to be able to put our stuff in. Also great for carrying water for us.

Re: dog strollers
If hes still young and healthy. Let him walk. Its good exercise and Im sure he needs it to burn off energy.
If hes old or sick and has issues walking by all means get one for him.

As others mentioned if you have a dog that has issues walking but likes being outside I think it’s great. My dog is like our baby and we take her on leash to places like Home Depot where she is allowed. But if you are going to try to use the stroller to bring your dog where they are otherwise not welcome/allowed (grocery store, Target, restaurants etc) I wouldnt do it.
