What brand sneakers do you buy?

I always tried to stick with stride rite brand sneakers when DS was little. He's 5 now so I'm wondering if I should continue to use stride rite or are there other good brands?

DD generally wears Sketchers.
DS almost exclusively wears Under Armour sneakers - specifically any Steph Currys. I have found that all UA sneakers hold up really well.

Mostly Nike and Jordans. Sometimes adidas.

Stylish for fashion, I will buy converse, Vans, target or h&m sneaker styles.

Once dd fully mastered walking, I stopped getting her stride rite and just got her whatever brand that she liked the look of. I did recently get her a pair of sneakers from stride rite because we were shopping for my 1 year old and she liked a very colorful pair of sneakers that she saw. But I was surprised and disappointed that they didn't last long at all. I don't know if it's the quality of the shoes or maybe my dd beat them up and was too rough wi th them, but they did not last nearly as long as the early walker shoes I've bought from stride rite over the years.

I go to the Stride Rite in Sayville, they carry New Balance. These are all I buy (usually) for my kids.

My kids have only worn Skechers. The styles are so cute and they last forever, they never fall apart. I only buy Skechers for myself too!

I buy Stride Rite shoes which hold up well for him. He currently has a pair of Asics which he really likes too.

I buy New Balance for myself.

Stride rite doesn't fit my DD's fat feet.

She has new balance, asics and a few pairs of Cat and Jack.

I usually buy Stride rite, Saucony, Nike.

My DS is 4 1/2 and besides Stride Rite, he has worm Saucony, New Balance, and currently is wearing Adidas. I’ve been happy with all of those brands,

DS 1 wears Under Armour and Nike. DS 2 wears Saucony or New Balance (wide foot).

I've found that the Saucony's don't wear as well as the others. I feel like they used to last longer.

We seem to be a Nike family, randomly we deviate and get other brands but always go back to Nike. My DDs and I also wear converse .. my older 2 I kept them in stride right for years, my younger 2, I only did for there first walking shoes.

We found a pair of Champion sneakers that DD liked in Target this fall so she got those.
Last year we found a pair of Addidas I believe in Bob's Stores.

She pretty much goes for the style she likes now that she is older.

She will have plenty of time to have to worry about buying shoes for comfort when her feet get old and bad like mine!

My DD used to love the light up sketchers but now in kindy she’s telling me they’re babyish! She wears converse, my mom got her sketchers hat don’t light up, and a friend just gave us brand new keds that were too small for her daughter. Mine is obsessed with them and they’re like plain gray slip ons - nothing crazy. She also has adidas superstars white w bright pink strips that Santa brought. She is obsessed with them and they’re her favorite.
