Car salesperson?

Car salesperson?

DH and I are shopping for a new car. We went to a dealership a few weeks ago (the same dealership our current car is from) said we'd think about it and left. We went back today and spoke with someone different (and got a much better deal, btw). I didn't realize until just before we left that the original salesperson was there, because he followed us outside and yelled "You have a nice day now!" as we got into our car.

Did we commit a faux pas? I didn't see the original guy when we got there, nor did I remember his name. Do you have to go to the same salesperson if you return to a dealership?

While his response was unprofessional, yes, you should've seen the original person you met with.

Re: Car salesperson?

If you got a better deal from the other guy eff it. I am not beholden to anyone. A car is an expensive purchase it's not like a difference of $10.
I'm a bitchh and would have yelled back at him..."Yeah you too asshole!".
That's no way to treat a customer at his place of employment
